The 11th of October was International day of the Girl Child. A day first organised by the UN in 2012 to draw attention to the position and emancipation of young girls. Agape Hope for Kibera educated a group of young girls from Kibera and distributed packs of sanitary towels. Many young girls do not have the means to buy sanitary towels for themselves. A package costs about 50 euro cents each, with a donation of a few euros you can ensure that these girls can also be provided with their basic needs.
